Introduction of Acta Pedologica Sinica



Acta Pedologica Sinica (ISSN 0564-3929), a peer-reviewed sci-tech academic journal with English abstracts, key words and references, is superintended by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, sponsored by the Soil Science Society of China, administered by the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and published by the Science Press.

The predecessor of Acta Pedologica Sinica is Bulletin of the Soil Science Society of China, which was started in December 1948 and renamed in 1952.

 Acta Pedologica Sinica is a journal reflecting creative, innovative and academically valuable research results in various disciplines of soil sciences, and publishes mainly creative research papers, research bulletins, review and progress of frontier issues, discussions and book review in the field of soil science and some related fields, such as plant nutrition science, fertilizer science, environmental science and territorial resources, etc.

This journal is one of high academic level in the field of soil sciences in China, and was or has been honoured as member of China Periodicals Matrix, Core Sci-Tech Journal of China, one of the 100 Outstanding Academic Journals of China (2002-2013), Outstanding S&T Journal of China (2008, 2011, 2014), and Academic Journal of China with the Highest International Impact (2012). The journal is accepted by some important international databases and retrieval systems, such as Chemical Abstract (CA) of USA, CAB Abstracts Series of UK, EBSCOhost of USA, Current Bulletin on Science Technology (CBST) of Japan, etc. as data source.

This journal is a bimonthly, 16 mo, 192 pages distributed both at home and abroad by the Science Press, and the China International Book Trading Corporation, separately.
