    Abstract:

In the present work, the electrical conductivity of yellow brown earth, brown earth, black soil and latosol suspensions in 10-4mol/L HCl or 5×10-5mol/L H2S04 or 10-4 mol/L H3P04 was measured with an apparatus with adjustable frequency. The results indicated that all the soil suspensions showed a conductivity dispersion phenomenon in all the acids. On all the conductivity-frequency curves a plateau region with a larger range of frequency appeared.
