Focusing on three second-level application codes (D0701 Environmental Soil Science, D0709 Fundamental Soil Science, and D0710 Soil Erosion and Soil Fertility) managed by the discipline of environmental geosciences in Department of Earth Sciences affiliated to National Natural Science Foundation of China, this article introduced and analyzed the application, acceptance, peer review, grant funding, research teams, and key words of projects including General Program, Young Scientists Fund, Fund for Less Developed Regions, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Excellent Young Scientists Fund, and Key Program in 2024.
