For the purpose of systematic study of the effect of winter wheat,field experiments were made in the central part of Shensi Province,China.The results obtained were summarized as follows:1.Summer plowing can improve the physical,chemical and biological properties of soil,and may be used as an important method for increasing the yield of winter wheat on the upland regions.
