The features of water-salt movement, the techniques of protecting seedling against salt injury and the cultural measures about scientifical application of fertilizers and rational condensed planting were studied in the work. On this basis, the comprehensive cultural measures of high-yielding beet on saline-alkali soils in the Datong basin are put forward.
