The present paper deals with the micromorphological features of the fine mass of some drab soils developed on different parent materials in West Liaoning used by a combination method of polarized microscope and SEM. The most important micromorphological features of the soils have been described and enmmarized in table 1. The function of physical and ehemioal characters of fine mass on the soils stability and erodibility are discussed.
